Yes. On an iMac, an external display or an older MacBook the app draws a small black island at the top centre of the screen and everything behaves the same.

Does it need an account, or send my data anywhere?
No account. Tasks, notes, the shelf and screen-time history stay on your Mac. The only network call is to check your licence key, and it never includes your files or usage.

Apple Music and Spotify today. Browser playback such as YouTube is on the list.
How many Macs can I use one licence on?
